"Trust your heart if the seas catch fire, live by love though the stars walk backward."

This quote, referenced by E. E. Cummings, is quite unique. Within the context of the poetic piece, this quote has a particularly different take than just on its own.

Think about it, though. What thought does it ignite? What is your take?

Personally, as a poetically soumd person, the meaning I issue, derives from the first portion. To trust one's heart, has always been a center theme in stories, whether they be wise tales, legends, on the spot or even just in movies. To trust it, when everything is in its parallel, at the point nothing when in the world in comprehensible, it is a feat on its own. To trust your heart no matter the circumstance, that is where we found our building blocks as humans. The second portion of the quote, I take as a notion to always keep love at the forwfront of all actions and thoughts taking place, to act out of it, to live for it, to be sound in it, and life will remain intact. Your life is what you make it, more often then not. And those less fortunate situations, they don't always look for pity, but for someone to hear them, to understand, to save them. So go out there, change at least one life today, even if it is by a small action. Pay it forward.
